Cookie Policy

Overview
ClassTrack ("we", "us") uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies on our website to keep it working and to understand how it is used so we can improve it. We do not use cookies to sell your data or to build advertising profiles about you.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences over time. "Similar technologies" include local storage and pixels/tags, which work in comparable ways. Cookies can be first-party (set by us) or third-party (set by a service we use, such as analytics).
2. Cookies we use
We group the cookies on our website into the following categories:
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to load and function securely (for example, remembering that you dismissed a banner or that JavaScript is enabled). These cannot be switched off through our site.
- Analytics & performance — help us understand which pages are visited and how visitors move through the site, so we can improve content and fix problems. These are set through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (see below).
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell any information collected through cookies.
3. Analytics & Google Tag Manager
Our website uses Google Tag Manager (GTM) to load measurement tags, including Google Analytics. These tools set cookies that collect aggregated, statistical information such as the pages you view, approximate location (derived from your IP address), device and browser type, and how you reached the site. We use this only to measure and improve the website's performance and content.
Google acts as a service provider for this purpose. You can read more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
4. What about the mobile app?
The ClassTrack mobile app does not rely on browser cookies. Inside the app we use the storage and identifiers described in our Privacy Policy — for example to keep you signed in, store your settings, and record basic, privacy-respecting usage and crash analytics that help us keep the app reliable.
5. How to manage cookies
You are in control of cookies. Most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies through their settings, and you can set your browser to warn you before a cookie is stored. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works. Helpful guides:
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our website and the tools we use evolve. Material changes will be reflected here, and we'll update the date at the top.
